The Edinburgh Bowling League was founded in 1996 when three existing leagues came together.

The object of the Edinburgh Bowling league is to provide competitive, meaningful league bowling to clubs in Districts 11 and 12 of the Scottish Bowling Association. The Edinburgh Bowling League will provide an organisation to run league bowling for those clubs wishing to participate. In addition to the leagues, they will also organise an Edinburgh Knockout Cup and Knockout competitions for Junior Singles, Singles, Pairs, Triples, Fours and Senior Fours.

Applications to join the Edinburgh Bowling League should be made through the secretary.
